relic tour121 Since 2007 the Edmonton Interfaith Centre  has partnered with the City of Edmonton to showcase the rich diversity of faiths in our region. Each month a display featuring aspects of these faith traditions is featured in a special display case in the atrium in City Hall.

This exciting joint project of the City and the Edmonton Interfaith Centre highlights the religious diversity which enriches our community and country. This project is unique to Edmonton and a great credit to our City Council’s commitment to embrace Edmonton’s diversity and to acknowledge that City Hall belongs to everyone.

During the 2014 – 2015 year, displays from Baha’i, Buddhist, Christian, Eckankar, Jain, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Unitarian, and Zoroastrian communities have featured and illustrated important religious beliefs and observances from their traditions.  Some have “launch” events with speakers, entertainment and refreshments from many parts of the globe. Check our calendar for upcoming launches and displays. Enjoying conversation and refreshments after the Launch at City Hall, Oct. 28, 2014.
