Since 2007 the Edmonton Interfaith Centre has partnered with the City of Edmonton to showcase the rich diversity of faiths in our region. Each month a display featuring aspects of these faith traditions is featured in a special display case in the atrium in City Hall.
This exciting joint project of the City and the Edmonton Interfaith Centre highlights the religious diversity which enriches our community and country. This project is unique to Edmonton and a great credit to our City Council’s commitment to embrace Edmonton’s diversity and to acknowledge that City Hall belongs to everyone.
Please join us in city hall at noon on Monday December 18 to celebrate Hanukkah, we’ll enjoy the Talmud Torah choir and refreshments including sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts), traditional treats of the season, all welcome.
