INTERFAITH EXPLORATIONS – Sunday, April 28th
We are invited to a special ceremony and service at the Unitarian Church of Edmonton, 10804 – 119 Street, that will honor the new First Nations banner to be dedicated and installed at the church. This is part of their social justice mandate to support the 94 recommendations from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. There will be a pipe ceremony at 9 a.m. and then a service at 10:30 a.m. Elder Rose Wabasca from the Bent Arrow Healing Society will be the speaker, and the performer is singer/drummer, Lloyd Cardinal.

After the service and ceremony there will be a feast with soups, bannock and preserves. For more information please call Rev. Audrey Brooks at 780-489-8842

Lunch & Learn – Monday, April 29th
Please come to hear Cantor David Mannes whose topic will be The Sacred Jewish of Judaism. His talk about Jewish music was a highlight of our North American Interfaith Network conference last summer.

Our entrance is in the back lane across from Tim Horton’s, bring your lunch if you like, hot and cold drinks provided, $2 donation gratefully accepted.

There is limited parking behind our building, the lot across 84 Avenue (south of us) is the cheapest.
