One of the highlights of our North American Interfaith Network conference last summer was this tour:  River Valley – this section of the North Saskatchewan River has been an Indigenous meeting place for at least 10,000 years. The 2 hour guided walk will be led by Lewis Cardinal and teach the way in which the history of the city intersects with that of those who first dwelled here. It will require maximum mobility up and down the river bank.

Lewis is offering the tour on both Saturday or Sunday afternoon, starting at 1:30 in the afternoon on June 1stand 2nd. We are taking reservations now. The cost is $10 per person, with a cheque payable to Edmonton Interfaith Centre or with Paypal here.

Date: Saturday June 1 or Sunday June 2, 2019

Cost: $10 per person

Time: 1:30 p.m.

Location: Meet on the south side of the river at the overlook on Saskatchewan Drive at 106 Street.
