1) LUNCH & LEARN Monday November 19 at noon (one week later due to Remembrance Day) Catalina Vasquez will present “The Art of Living”, based on the teachings of H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar who said “Existence is a fact. Living is an art.”

It will be here, entrance in the back lane across from Tim Horton’s, bring your lunch if you like, hot and cold drinks provided, $2 donation gratefully accepted.

We cannot be certain of parking behind our building, please plan to park elsewhere unless you are very lucky, the lot across 84 Avenue (south of us) is the cheapest.

2) Just One World (formerly Just Christmas) is coming to St. Basil’s Cultural Centre, 10819 – 71 Avenue, Saturday, November 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please come and say Hi, buy the 2019 multifaith calendar and our beautiful posters. Great entertainment, food, free parking, unique gifts, fair trade, social justice….hope to see you there.

3) December Open House –Wednesday December 5 at 7:30, please join us here for our annual relaxing evening of fun, food, music, dance and schmoozing with friends old and new. You can buy calendars and renew your memberships too.

4) Our wonderful partnership program with the city continues in City Hall. “Celebrating Our Faiths” is featuring the Sai Baba Centre for November and Eckankar for December. Please take a look when you are downtown.
