1) Lunch & Learn, Monday May 13, please come to hear our board member Farah Jamil talk about Ramadan. 

Farah Jamil is a health executive with a B Sc and a Master of Health Administration. She has combined her love of science and business to work in several sectors, including: government, health region, non-profit and
academia in Canada and the United States. While in school and during her career, she recognized the need for bringing down barriers and building bridges in the realm of interfaith dialogue. Therefore, Farah has
volunteered for several interfaith boards, committees and organizations, including: the Edmonton Interfaith Center for Education and Action (EICEA), American Muslim Health Professionals (AMHP), A Common Word Alberta – Christian Muslim Interfaith Dialogue, etc. As a member of EICEA, Farah is committed to “help create a society which respects the richness of human diversity”.

Our entrance is in the back lane across from Tim Horton’s, bring your lunch
if you like, hot and cold drinks provided, $2 donation gratefully accepted.
There is limited parking behind our building, the lot across 84 Avenue (south of us) is the cheapest.

2) On Friday, May 24 at noon, also at the Legislature, we will be holding a Unity Walk for Peace & Love, more details to follow.
