© Edmonton Interfaith Centre for Education and Action 2010 Over the years we have developed and sponsored many diverse programs as we work to create a more harmonious and respectful community.  We lead an annual multi-faith prayer service to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. We provide education programs for younger and older members of the community.  Through these we hope to enlighten our community about the many religions found in Greater Edmonton, and to help them to appreciate this rich diversity. Our bi-monthly meetings are held at houses of worship throughout the community.  During these meetings speakers challenge us with insights about differing faiths, and we also tour and learn about diverse houses of worship. We  sponsor multi-faith dialogues examining the critical issues of our times. Since 1995 we have sponsored programs throughout the community which have helped to educate Albertans about the many faith expressions found in our province.    “The need of the moment is not one religion, but mutual respect and tolerance of the devotees of the different religions.” Gandhi    Made with Xara Bi-monthly Meetings Celebrating our Faiths Interfaith Dialogues Lunch and Learn Multi-faith Services Walking Together
