© Edmonton Interfaith Centre for Education and Action 2010 Objectives 1. To educate the general community about the diversity of religious faiths found in Edmonton through programs including lectures, prayer services, discussions, presentations, audio visuals, interfaith dialogues and celebrations of the religious festivals of member faith groups. 2. To lead interfaith worship services at events conducted by the Interfaith Centre or member faith groups or institutions or organizations in the Edmonton community. 3. To educate Interfaith Centre members and the community about racial and faith discrimination in the Edmonton community and on a global basis and provide education and an example of a non- discriminatory lifestyle. 4. To cooperate with community institutions such as hospitals, prisons, places of worship, schools, museums, social agencies, and the police in teaching respect for the various religions of the world, and encouraging the participation of people of all religions in events which show respect for all faiths. 5. To represent the Edmonton Interfaith Centre as an active participant in the North American Interfaith Network and such other local, regional national or international interfaith and community organizations as may, from time to time, be appropriate to the mission of the Centre. Application for Individual Membership I support the objectives of the Edmonton Interfaith Centre for Education and Action, and wish to apply for Individual Membership in the Society for the year January 1 to December 31, 2011 I agree to make a membership donation of a minimum of $25 for the coming year.
